Not really sure what suicidal tendencies drove me to it, but I am going to volunteer to be a Municipal Liason for NaNoWrimo this year.
This means I have to face my unreasonable fear of approching strangers and asking for help. I will have to mingle with and meet strangers and I will have to commit to not only arranging but actually attending social situations.
